19" BBS RS-GT soon to be dipped black

Just ordered a few cans of black plastidip, ridiculously expensive here in the UK compared to the US!

Anyway, I will be dipping my BBS RS-GT reps in black, hoping they will look ok. Quick question. How long do I need to leave them to dry before I put the wheels back on the car?

Couple of pics of the wheels as they are now on my TT...

those are going to be nice black, are you leaving a chrome lip?, and as long as you can touch the rims you can put them on the car

No chrome lip initially. I want to protect the lip from the salt on the roads and snow that is due here at the weekend. Once the bad weather has gone, I'll probably peel the lip off for a change. Thanks for the advice, that makes it easier, was worried I'd have to leave them overnight or something!

They look good all black to, when I did my rims after they sat there for about 30 minutes to dry in 70 degree weather I put them on with no problem

Oh a couple of hours is no problem. I'll do 2 in the morning, go out for a few hours and then do the others. Can have the car out of action for half a day. 70 degree weather?! What's that? Ha ha, been a while since we've seen that type of weather

OH Man, that sucks what temp is it there, if it is cold be sure to keep your cans warm by keeping them in your house or in some hot water and be sure to shake the heck out of them

Yeh, I'll keep them in the house. It was -5 last time I checked! Bloody freezing! Snow has come and gone and will be back by the weekend I expect!
