Thread: Blaze Colors UV Reactive

    Lightbulb Blaze Colors UV Reactive

This might already be known but I learned recently that some of the Blaze PD colors are very UV (black light) reactive.

*Blaze Purple has no UV reactive qualities from what I can tell*

Blaze Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink and Orange all have a nice glow when put under a UV light at night. This is also what probably attributes to their brightness during the day in the sunlight (UV).

I have not been able to get a good picture of the green glowing but here is what I have done so far:

Update: Tested Blaze Pink as well and found it is also very UV reactive. Updated pictures above.

I am going to do some better testing on a poster board and use the Blaze Purple to compare the UV reactive (blue, green, yellow orange, pink) to non-UV reactive (purple)

This all started because I broke one of those light switch plates in a blistering rage and had to get a new one from home depot for like 69 cents and got the idea to try and dip it cause they are so cheap anyways.

Do you live in a smoke shop? Do you have any posters with aliens on them too?

I wonder if the fluorescent colors in the gallon glow too. Someone with a whole car done swap your garage bulbs out and take some pics!

Or swap out some you you accessory lights on your car. Maybe a fluorescent license plate with black light bulbs on the back or something. Can you paint your plates in some states?

I'm just curious what a whole car would look like glowing it would make some cool pics.

I have been busy with school lately but I finally got around to getting all the colors on one poster board for everyone to see.

In order from left to right: BLAZE Yellow, BLAZE Green, BLAZE Pink, BLAZE Purple, BLAZE Blue, and BLAZE Orange.

    Under black light (UV Light)

Keep in mind the poster board is white and naturally glows under blacklight, the BLAZE Purple stands out because it is not UV reactive and will not glow, the BLAZE Blue is almost not visible because it is giving off about the same amount of UV glow as the white paper poster board it is on.
