    Dipping over rust?

I have just discovered Plasti Dip and am curious how it performs when applied over rust. I'm planning on dipping a 1991 Isuzu Trooper, the rust on the car is coming from a few of the edges. Would the PD spray over and bond to the rusted parts and hold them together? If anyone has tried this please let me know!

dont do it, it will be hard for the dip to peel if it peels at all, best bet is to sand prime and spray.
