Glow in the dark dip, selfmade

I will edit this post later, this is white and clear plasti dip mixed with glow in the dark powder! Result was pretty good! Please note that this looks alot better in person.

    Mixed with white dip

    4 coats of white (mixed)
This glow doesn't build up after 3 coats. Obviously because it's white.

    Mixed with clear dip

5 coats of white, 6 coats of clear (mixed)

The powder i used, ratio: 10 grams for each 100ml THINNED plasti dip.

    Nice.

What does the white and clear look like in the day light?

Rams, Is this the sort of stuff you used?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120816102973

what ratio of dip to thinners you used?

Since the clear is clear, if I used it on my roof, would it appear black during the day and glow at night?

That's the stuff i used. I don't know what it does on a black roof. The powder almost looks white in daylight, i don't think your roof would stay black but i'm really curious how it would look! Maybe a project for you? I told the powder/dip ratio in the first post.

    Thinners to dip ratio.
Would that effect the glow in the dark brightness?

I just ordered some clear dip and GD powder. Only 30grams at the moment.
I'm going to mix up a small batch and test it out on my aerial for now.

I'll let you know how I get one.

I might do my front badge as well.

Oh i misread, 1:1 thinner:dip. I don't know if it would affect the brightness.
I've sprayed the frame of my licence plate. I have no daytime pics atm. Badges would be nice!

    Thanks.

I'll see what happens and report back.

I was going to go white and do some other bits but the UK has sold out of white and black.
