Universal. Low cleaning. Ergonomical.

The SATAjet 1000 B gravity fed spray gun has been specifically developed for the LIC/Industrial/wood coatings markets. Thanks to the very wide range of nozzle set sizes, extensions and the possibility to equip with both a pressurized gravity cup or a gravity cup with a pneumatic stirrer almost all available coatings can be sprayed from low-viscosity wood stains and clearcoats to glues and other thixotropic materials.

Product Benefits

  • Allrounder: Thanks to a wide range of nozzles and diverse accessories, a wide variety of materials can be processed excellently.
  • Simplified cleaning: The smooth surface of the spray gun body makes cleaning easier for the user.
  • QC-Quick Change thread: Simple and fast air nozzle change with only 1.5 turns
  • Also for hard-to-reach areas: Thanks to the available extensions, the SATAjet 1000 B can handle hard-to-reach or narrow and deeper areas without any problem.

Suitable Areas Of Application

  • Industrial Applications
  • Carpentry
  • Decorative Painting
  • Yacht and Boat Building

Two paths to the perfect result: HVLP and RP

  • HVLP: Extra Economical - HVLP paint spray guns achieve particularly high transfer rates with their low-pressure technology.
  • RP: Extra Fast - RP spray guns stand for maximum working speed with optimized high-pressure technology and low overspray.
  • Both variants can be used very flexibly, meet the highest demands on the painting result and clearly exceed the transfer rates of 65 % required by the VOC directive.

  • Operating Principle & Air Pressure
The SATAjet 1000 B is a gravity‐fed spray gun designed for optimal atomization at low air pressures. For HVLP operation, set your inlet pressure to 0.7–1.3 bar at the gun to achieve transfer efficiencies above 65 %. RP variants perform best at 2.0–3.5 bar, delivering rapid material output with minimal recoil. Always measure pressure at the gun inlet, not the regulator, to ensure consistency.

  • Nozzle & Fan Adjustment
Simply remove the air cap by turning the QC‑thread 1½ rotations—no tools required. Choose from nozzle sets in 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 mm; smaller sizes yield finer atomization for clearcoats, larger sizes handle primers, adhesives or thixotropic materials. Fan width is adjusted via the lateral air control screw, letting you switch between narrow patterns for edges or wide patterns for broad surfaces.
  • Accessory Options
    – Gravity Cups: 125 ml or 250 ml plastic cups for quick color changes; 600 ml metal cups for larger runs.
    – Pressurised Cup: Attach a 0.5–2 bar feed cup for continuous spray without refilling.
    – Pneumatic Stirrer: Keeps low‑viscosity stains and waterborne coatings homogenous—ideal for clearcoats and stains that settle.
    – Extensions & Bends: Reach up to 600 mm into cavities, corners and deep recesses with rigid or flexible extensions.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance
The smooth, anodized gun body resists paint buildup—just wipe with a solvent‐dampened cloth. For deeper cleaning, disassemble the air cap and nozzle set; all metal parts can be soaked in standard gun cleaner. The QC‑Quick Change thread speeds reassembly: rinse parts and screw back together in under 60 seconds.

  • Ergonomics & Balance
At only 460 g (gun body) plus cup, the SATAjet 1000 B feels virtually weightless in hand. Its contoured handle, reduced vibration and linear trigger ensure fatigue‑free use during extended spray sessions.

Which to choose?

  • If you’re focused on the highest transfer efficiency and want to minimize overspray, choose the HVLP version. It’s ideal for refined clearcoats, waterborne basecoats and stains where material savings and environmental compliance matter most.
  • If you need maximum output and fastest job turnaround, opt for the RP model. Its higher atomizing pressure speeds up coatings with good edge coverage, making it perfect for primers, fillers and high‑build topcoats.
  • If you work with fine finishes—thin glazes, stains or clearcoats—on furniture or decorative pieces, pair the 1.0–1.3 mm nozzle sets with the pneumatic stirrer cup for precise, clog‑free spraying.
  • If you handle larger volumes of medium‑viscosity basecoats or adhesives, go for the 1.4–1.8 mm nozzles and the larger 600 ml cup—either gravity or pressurized—to keep your workflow uninterrupted.
  • If you frequently paint inside narrow cavities, deep recesses or hard‑to‑reach corners, equip your SATAjet 1000 B with one of the rigid or flexible extensions (200–600 mm) to maintain a consistent spray pattern without awkward hand positions.
  • If you switch between multiple coatings or colors in one session, the QC‑Quick Change air cap and smaller 125 ml cups will let you swap nozzle sets and cups in under a minute, reducing downtime.
