HyperDip® Polar White is a Glossy White right out of the can. No topcoats or enhancers needed.
Please note that spraying White coatings and paints will always be a bit more involved than other colors. White takes longer to cover, even at higher pigment loads. You may use Polar White directly over OEM surfaces if the surface you're spraying is a light color (Silver, Grey, White). However if spraying over darker colors (Black, Dark Grey, Dark Blue), a Nardo Grey HyperDip base is recommended. Also use a Nardo Grey HyperDip Base if the surface you are spraying is multi-colored, 2-toned or stained.
HyperDip® is the latest technology in peelable aerosol paints. HyperDip® is still peelable like Plasti Dip, however improved in every way. HyperDip® is perfect for your Wheels, Trim, Emblems, Mirrors or any small surface.
You will notice the benefits of the advanced HyperDip® technology immediately:
- A smoother, flatter, slicker finish
- A stronger, stretchier coating
- Easier to wet out and spray like a pro
- Enhanced finishes and sheen right out of the can
Gloss products are traditionally more difficult to spray than satin or matte. Please make sure you watch the Gloss HyperDip® video closely and follow allguidelines.
HyperDip® is not compatible with traditional Plasti Dip or any other non-HyperDip® coatings, so please do not combine or stack with any other products. Gloss HyperDip® can be applied over existing Shadow Black HyperDip® if the existing Shadow Black is in great condition. No tears, no texture, no stains. To apply Gloss HyperDip® over previously applied Shadow Black: wash the surface with soap and water, allow the surface to dry for 24 hours, wipe the surface thoroughly with PreDip Spray, then wipe the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. If all of those steps are completed, you can lay 2 wet coats of Gloss HyperDip® on top and should have great results.
HyperDip® protects dipped surfaces from acids, abrasion, corrosion, impact, salts, moisture and weathering. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not crack, or become brittle in extreme temperatures when applied correctly.
Temperature guidelines: HyperDip® is sensitive to humidity. Humidity levels at or below 50% are ideal. In temps lower than 75F, warming your cans in warm water prior to application
help achieve a smoother finish. Spraying Gloss HyperDip® in humidity higher than 50% can impact the gloss level and clarity. Avoid spraying in high humidity for optimal results.
Test all applications in a small inconspicuous area to make sure it will meet your expectations and is suitable for each unique surface. Although HyperDip® has proven to be safe and predictable, every surface is unique and it's impossible to predict how each surface will react. Aerosols are not designed to spray large or horizontal surfaces. Aerosols are not suitable for spraying hoods, roofs, doors, etc. Please utilize our gallons and sprayers for those surfaces.
Clean each surface with PreDip Spray to remove any dirt, debris, oils, waxes, grease, or loose rust, then let dry completely before spraying HyperDip®. Start with 3-4 light dust coats before spraying wet to avoid fisheyes. Coat each dipped surface with DipCoat Protective Spray 4 hours after dip has dried for bestresults.
HyperDip® is NOT compatible with Glossifier, Plasti Dip or any other products.
