"Good condition" paint will not require Primer. This would include a vehicle free of flaking clear coat, deep scratches, pitting, rust, and no need for repairs. Faded clearcoat and surface scratches are fine, as long as the clearcoat is fully intact.
"Has Issues" would include everything else, and would require Primer. If your vehicle includes any of the issues listed above, OR you're unsure if you need Primer, it's always safer to include Primer in your Kit.
VHS is our premium Clearcoat. This is for painters who want the highest quality finish available. Extremely high solids with a deep gloss, superior leveling and incredible clarity. The best of the best.
Standard is our mid-level Clearcoat. Still an excellent finish and value, designed for painters looking to prioritize cost over premium materials.
